all about them words

ok, so yeah..i know...long time. same old song and dance.

i gave the kids words for christmas. like, i took an index card, and i went through a thesaurus, and i picked out a special word for each child. then, with my fancy smancy caligraphy pen, i wrote the word down on the card, and gave it to the kid in a nice envelope that also, incidentally, included a homework pass for next semester.

i gave them cool words, like "transcendent," and "intrepid," and "emerging."

here's the best part:
one girl, i gave her "ageless," meaning to say that i think that she is so classic, so...something...that she could live in any time period at all, and it wouldn't matter. she's not confined by the world as we know it now. she thought that it meant that she had "no age." alrighty.

so that was fun. also, last night i nearly could've killed myself trying to work my new transpod (to play the ipod in the car) because, silly me, i cut the car on and i'm trying to figure this thing out...sitting in the garage. so the carbon monoxide was like filling the space around me...tricky business. lucky thing i realized what was up.

has anyone else's 2005 been the longest year of their life?
